Individual Piping & Drumming Competition

Individual Piping and Drumming Competitions are sanctioned and monitored by Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA).
Professional and Amateur Competitors Grades 1 through 4 must be registered members in good standing with EUSPBA.
Grade 5 competitors are not required to be members of EUSPBA.

Amateur piping and drumming competitions will be held for Grades 1 through 5, including Grade 4 Junior and Senior piping.
Professional (Open) Piping competition will be held for both MSR and Piobaireachd.
Open Snare Drumming Competition will be held for March, Strathspey & Reel for Grades 1 through 5, including Grade 4 Junior and Senior drumming.

Grade 5 competitions are open to beginners who are not yet playing the bagpipe or the snare drum in competition.
Grade 5 Piping Competition is restricted to the practice chanter only, and is not open to those playing the bagpipe in band competition.
Grade 5 Drumming competition is restricted to the drum pad only, and is not open to those playing the snare drum in band competition.

Check-in at Secretary's Tent (opens at 7:30am).
Competition begins at 8:00am at Stations throughout the Park.

Competition will be announced based on number of entries.

53. Amateur Bass Drumming
Competition will be announced based on number of entries.



Registration includes validation of EUSPBA membership and admission to the Games for Competitor plus 1 non-competing guest.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany a child competitor under 19 years of age.
All competitors must wear gate entry wristband in order to compete.
Competitors with wristbands receive 10% discount on purchases with participating vendors.

Registration Fee and Event Entry Fees are due on or before June 16, 2017:
Amateur - $25.00 for competitor not in a band competing at Round Hill
Amateur - $15.00 for competitor who is a member of a band competing at Round Hill
Amateur Event Fee - $5.00 per event
Professional - $35.00 per event

Late registrations may be accepted schedule permitting.
Include Late fee of $10.00 if Registering after June 16, 2017.
Late Registrations will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
